little updates.

wow, I'm terrible at keeping this thing updated. In my defense, I've been travelling back and forth to Canada every month and eating a lot of junk food that you don't care to see pictures of anyway.

Now that I'm home, I do have a few things to share.


Soy yogurt with pomegranate molasses

Pomegranate molasses is such an amazing thing. I saw Mercedes use it on fetteh in Desert Candy and I remembered I had a bottle rolling around in my cupboard. It's has a very intense sweet-sour, berry-pomegranate flavour. Not at all like the blackstrap molasses you're probably used to having.


Cellentani with creminis and steak strips

I really do love Morningstar Farms' chicken and steak meal starters strips. They're super easy to fry up, have a great texture and work in almost anything. For this I just made a basic tomato sauce and added the sautéed mushrooms and steak strips. I ate it for every meal yesterday! *burp*
