Pistachio and Plum Crumble

Plums were on sale at the store and I remembered I had seen a great recipe for Pistachio and plum crumble over at Desert Candy. Mercedes uses greengages in hers but the regular plums ones I used worked just fine. I added another teaspoon or two of brown sugar to the fruit since greengages tend to be a little sweeter.

to make the recipe vegan I simply omitted the egg and added margarine to the topping mixture working it in until it was pebbly. Of course, since the topping already had margarine in it, I didn't slice margarine on top.

After seeing those photos I'm reminded of MFP's rhubarb pie.

Get working on that!
